To participate, interested individuals must create an original, homemade Carl’s Jr. commercial that runs between 30 and 60 seconds. This commercial must then be uploaded to TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. To ensure the submission is received, creators must tag @CarlsJr in the video caption and include the hashtags #Carls85th and #MyCarlsJrAd. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges to determine the winners based on the official criteria.

In addition to the grand prize of $85,000 cash, there are multiple runner-up prizes available. Two selected winners will receive free Carl’s Jr. for a year, which is awarded to help satisfy cravings throughout the seasons. Additionally, five other winners will receive a $200 VIP gift card to spend at participating restaurant locations.

This contest is open to individuals who are at least 18 years of age and live in the United States, with the exception of those living in Florida, New York, and Rhode Island. The entry window began on July 20, 2026, and all video submissions must be posted online before the deadline on August 7, 2026.
