The AMC Theatres Japan’s Great Galaxy Getaway Sweepstakes offers participants a chance to win a 4-night trip for two to Japan. This prize package includes hotel accommodations, airfare, a visit to Osaka Castle, tickets to a Tokyo art exhibition, and $500 in cash.
Entry Details
There are two ways to participate in this sweepstakes. Individuals can receive an automatic entry by purchasing a ticket to The Super Mario Galaxy Movie for a showing in Dolby Cinema at AMC, using an AMC Stubs loyalty account or membership number. Alternatively, an entry can be made without a movie ticket purchase by mailing in a 3×5 card with the required entry information to “JAPAN’S GREAT GALAXY GETAWAY SWEEPSTAKES NPN ENTRY P.O. Box 546 Tenafly, NJ 07670”. Each person may enter a single time.
The giveaway began on March 9, 2026, and will conclude on April 5, 2026. Participation is open to individuals who meet certain conditions within the contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Rhode Island, and are 18 years of age or older.
The primary prize is a 5-day/4-night trip for one winner and three guests to Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. This includes economy air transportation for four people from the international airport nearest the winner’s home to Osaka, and from Tokyo to the international airport nearest the winner’s home. The trip also features two nights of standard hotel accommodations in Osaka with breakfast, two nights of standard hotel accommodations in Tokyo, and high-speed rail transportation via Shinkansen between Osaka and Tokyo for all four individuals. Additionally, the prize comprises a tour of Osaka, including a visit to Osaka Castle, and a tour of Tokyo that includes an art exhibition visit and a food tasting. A $500 cash prize, awarded as a check, is also part of the winning package. The total approximate retail value of this prize is $18,920.00.
