Entry Details
To participate, individuals must have a free Strava account and join the IAMS | Strava Dog Run Marathon Challenge within the Strava app. Participants then need to walk or run a total of 26.2 miles with their dog during the promotion period, with a limit of five kilometers per day counting toward the total. Once the challenge is complete, participants must take a screenshot of their completed challenge screen and upload it alongside the submission form. There is a limit of a single entry per person, and no product purchase is required to participate.
The campaign is open to individuals living in the fifty United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age. The entry window closes on the deadline of September 30, 2026.
The grand prize includes a $10,000 check, twenty-six bags of IAMS High Protein dog food, and a gear box containing marathon medals, a custom tank top, a dog water bottle, and a running bungee leash. Additionally, twenty-six second-prize winners will each receive a bag of IAMS High Protein dog food and a gear box that includes marathon medals, a t-shirt, a dog water bottle, and a running bungee leash.
