Entry Details
To participate in this pet-focused contest, entrants need to submit a creative application online. The submission process requires uploading at least three photos, a short video, and a brief written essay explaining why their puppy or kitten, who must be under twelve months of age, is the ultimate snuggler and perfect for the title of Chief Snuggle Officer. Because this is a judged competition, entries will be evaluated based on the criteria specified by the sponsor. There is a limit of a single entry per person for the duration of the promotion.
The campaign began on July 1, 2026, and submissions will be accepted until the entry deadline on July 17, 2026. Participation is open to pet owners who are at least eighteen years old and located in the United States or the District of Columbia.
Two grand prize winners will be selected from the submissions. The prize package for each winner features a cash prize of $25,000 in the form of a check, along with $250 worth of Adult Dog Chow or Adult Cat Chow pet food coupons. Additionally, the winning pets will receive exclusive exposure by being featured in Purina’s Chief Snuggle Officer marketing materials.
