The Hallmark Merriest Christmas Towns Contest sponsored by Hallmark offers a grand prize for one town to be designated the “Merriest Christmas Town” and potentially serve as a filming location for a future Hallmark movie.
Entry Information
To enter this contest, participants are asked to submit photos and/or a video, along with a description detailing how their town embodies the spirit of Christmas and why it should be recognized as Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town. Entry is limited to one per town. The contest concludes on August 10, 2026. This contest is open to individuals in the fifty United States and DC, who are at least 21 years of age.
The grand prize for one winning town includes the designation as the “Merriest Christmas Town.” This also offers the opportunity for the town to be considered as a filming location for a Hallmark movie, subject to further agreements. Additionally, twenty-five runner-up towns will receive designation as an “Official Hallmark Christmas Town,” an Official 2026 Hallmark Christmas Town Digital Seal, and access to social and marketing templates and Countdown to Christmas promotional assets.
