The Sutter Home Build A Better Burger Recipe Contest is currently running, presented by Sutter Home. Five individuals will have the opportunity to travel to California for a burger cook-off, with the grand prize winner receiving $25,000 in cash.
Entry Details
To participate, individuals need to submit an original burger recipe and specify which Sutter Home Wine would best complement it. From these submissions, the top 20 recipes will be selected, and Sponsor’s culinary team will then prepare them. Following this, five finalists will be chosen and provided with travel to California to compete in a cook-off event. The entry frequency is limited to a single entry per person. The contest began on May dia 1, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude on July 12, 2026. This contest is open to individuals aged 21 and older.
The Grand Prize winner will receive $25,000 in cash, awarded as a check. Additionally, five winners will each receive two nights of double occupancy hotel accommodations in Napa, California, economy-class airfare for two people between their home and a Bay Area Airport (SMF, SFO, or OAK), continental breakfast for two daily, and one $650 pre-paid debit card for use towards meals, a rental car, or at their discretion.
